## Remove a watermark in four steps

1. Open the editor and choose your MP4, MOV or WebM file.
2. Drag the red box over the watermark. A loose box is fine.
3. Pick “Remove watermark” to keep the full frame, or “Crop it out” for a guaranteed clean edge.
4. Compare before and after with the slider, then download your new MP4.

## When removal works best

- The watermark is see-through, like most modern text and logo marks.
- It stays in the same place for the whole video.
- The scene or camera moves, so the background behind the mark changes.

> **Tip:** If the watermark is solid and sits over a detailed background, cropping usually gives a cleaner result than any removal method, because the picture behind a solid mark was never recorded.
